Acceleration and lift

The function principle in five steps

1. Toroidal vortex

Vortifer® accelerates air mechanically (by propeller) from below and draws it across an airfoil surface in a circulating process (toroidal vortex).

2. Ambient air

During this process, ambient air is also drawn in and likewise accelerated.

3. Air excess

Thus, an enormous excess of accelerated air is generated.

4. Lift

This excess presses downward − and, in the case of Vortifer®, conversely provides lift.

5. Fluid mechanics

Vortifer®’s form of propulsion based on fluid mechanics generates thrust, lift, stability, safety and superior efficiency. This principle behaves consistently with all fluids (e.g. water).
